A blue-coded Festool Aluminium saw blade sized 160mm × 2.2mm × 20mm bore with 52 teeth — the dimension that fits the TS 55 R plunge-cut saw (the older-model 55-series track saw at 2.2mm kerf). Manufactured from high-quality metal with laser-cut, thermally adjusted blade cores that minimise heat generation during the cut. Use this blade for cutting aluminium composite panels (ACM) for signage and architectural fabrication, aluminium extrusions and profiles, hard PVC, acrylic glass, phenolic-resin-bonded fibres and fabrics, and the non-ferrous and engineered-plastic materials where a wood blade would tear and a generic metal blade would chatter. The Triple Chip Grind tooth geometry delivers the clean, splinter-free cut these materials demand on the finished face. Like all standard Festool blades, this blade can be resharpened up to six times, significantly extending blade life and reducing cost-per-cut. Festool stocks spare parts and consumables for at least ten years after a machine leaves the current range, so TS 55 R owners stay supported with genuine replacement blades.
