SYS-MC 6/4 multi-charger for Festool 18V batteries, Systainer format, charges four batteries in parallel from one socket.
The SYS-MC 6/4 takes battery management for a Festool cordless fleet from one-charger-per-battery to one-device-handles-four. Plug the charger into a single AU 240V outlet and load up to four 10.8-18V Festool batteries in any combination. The multi-charger services them in parallel, so a full set of dead batteries comes back to ready-to-cut at roughly the same time it would have taken a single charger to handle one. For a trade with three or four cordless tools running through a working day, the time recovered between battery changeovers is meaningful.
Batteries are accessible from all sides of the unit, including when the SYS-MC is stacked underneath other Systainers in transport. The LED display on the front shows the remaining charge state for each battery so you know which one to grab when you need fresh power. Two integrated USB Type-C ports let you charge a phone or accessory at the same time, and two carrying handles built into the chassis make the unit usable as a battery caddy: load four batteries, swing it into the back of the ute, and you have a portable battery store.
The SYS-MC 6/4 is compatible with the full Festool 10.8V to 18V battery range, with two exceptions: the BP-XS battery used in the CXS and TXS drills (those use the dedicated MXC charger), and the BP Ergo battery packs. For all the standard tools (saws, drills, sanders, vacuums, jigsaws), the SYS-MC 6/4 is the right scaled-up charging solution.
